DARUL IFTAA CURRICULUM

YEAR 1 COURSES

  1. Sharḥ ʿUqūd Rasm al-Muftī
  2. Aḥsan al-Fatāwā
  3. Tamrīn al-Fatāwā (Students will be assigned questions daily to provide thorough and well-referenced research.)
  4. Uṣūl al-Iftāʾ
  5. Islamic finance
  6. Fiqh al-Buyūʿ
  7. Al-Sirājī fi al-Mīrāth

Darul Iftaa also provides access to scholars of other fields, such as psychologists, chemists, lawyers, doctors, food scientists, and others. This will allow our students to broaden their outlook. Some of these areas of knowledge include, but not limited to:

  1. Lessons in Clarity and Grace
  2. Financial Contracts Analysis
  3. Arbitration & Mediation
  4. Intro to Ḥanafī Fiqh Books
  5. Various Research Papers

  3. Al-Ashbāh wa al-Naẓāʾir
  4. Fatāwā Maḥmūdīyyah
  5. Tamrīn al-Fatāwā (Students will focus part of the year on daily questions and the remainder on a final thesis)
  6. Faskh al-Nikāḥ
  7. Athar al-Ḥaḍith al-Sharīf
  8. Introduction to Hadith Research
  9. Tuḥfat al-ʿUlamāʾ

Peer Review & Academic Critique will be available for all academic work.
